Your local project data

GlossPair stores your project library in the app's local storage on your device. This can include project and item details, customer names, item identifiers, service notes, photos, photo pairs, annotations, business names and logos, camera settings, export preferences and the cumulative project creation count.

Photo records can include capture dates, image dimensions, camera or lens identifiers, zoom settings and file integrity information. Original image files may retain embedded camera metadata.

This information is used on your device to capture and organize photos, align Ghost references, edit observations, generate reports, manage storage and create or restore backups. No GlossPair account is required. GlossPair does not automatically upload your project library to the developer or a developer-operated server.

Permissions and files you choose

GlossPair requests camera access when you use the camera to take project photos. You can change camera permission in iOS Settings.

GlossPair does not request microphone or location access, and does not request access to your entire Photos library. The system Files picker gives the app access to files you choose, such as a business logo or a GlossPair backup, for the requested import or restore operation.

Sharing, reports and backups

You decide when to export, share or save a report, original image or backup, and choose the destination through system interfaces. The recipients, apps and storage providers you select handle those copies under their own policies. A destination you choose in Files may be a cloud provider, including iCloud Drive. GlossPair does not automatically sync your library to a cloud service; CloudKit is disabled.

Reports and backups can contain customer information, notes, business branding and identifying details visible in photos. Hiding customer names and item IDs in a report does not remove identifying details from photos or other text. Review files before sharing them.

Full backups include the library's recorded originals, project records and settings. Backups are not encrypted by GlossPair. Store them in a destination you trust and protect them using the security controls available there.

The local project library is excluded from automatic system backup so that its database and original photos are restored together using GlossPair's Full Backup & Restore feature. Export a full backup before deleting the app or moving to another device.

Purchases

Apple processes purchases and restores through the App Store and StoreKit. GlossPair uses product information and Apple-verified transaction information, including purchase or revocation status, to determine access to unlimited local project creation. The free project creation count is stored locally and is not reset when you delete a project.

GlossPair does not receive your payment card details or Apple Account password. Project photos and customer records are not sent by GlossPair as part of purchase verification. Restoring a purchase restores the entitlement, not your project library.

Apple handles its account, payment and related service information under its own policies and settings. You can read Apple's Privacy Policy.

Analytics, advertising and tracking

GlossPair does not include developer-operated analytics, advertising, cross-app tracking, third-party SDKs or automatic uploads of project content. The developer does not sell or rent your project information. Apple may process App Store or device diagnostics according to Apple's policies and your device settings; these are separate from the local project library.

Information you send to support

If you choose to email support, the developer receives your email address, your message and any attachments you choose to send. This information is used to respond to your request, troubleshoot the issue and handle related follow-up. Email providers also process the correspondence under their own policies.

GlossPair's Email Support action opens your email app. It does not automatically attach your library, photos, purchase records or diagnostic logs. Please send only the information needed for your request, and remove customer or other sensitive details from screenshots and attachments when possible.

Support correspondence is kept only as needed to handle your request, related follow-up and applicable recordkeeping obligations. You can contact the address below to ask about, correct or request deletion of information you voluntarily sent to support.

Retention and deletion

Your project library remains on your device until you change or delete its contents, delete the app's local data through iOS, or replace selected data during an explicit backup restore. You can edit project details and delete projects and photos in the app. Temporary exports and thumbnails can be cleared or regenerated separately from original photos.

Deleting a project does not reset the cumulative free project allowance. Deleting the app through iOS removes its local app data. Copies you previously exported, shared, backed up or emailed remain with their destinations until you delete them there or ask the recipient to do so.

The developer cannot access or remotely delete a library that exists only on your device. Contacting support or restoring a purchase does not recover local photos; a full backup is needed to restore your library.

Security

Local app data uses the iOS app sandbox and applicable device file protection. Protection also depends on your device security settings and the destinations you choose for exported files. GlossPair does not add encryption to backup archives or exported reports. No storage or transmission method can guarantee complete security.

Changes to this policy

If GlossPair's data handling changes, this policy and its last-updated date will be updated. The policy bundled with the app is available offline in Settings. Any future service with different data handling will need corresponding privacy disclosures.
